Betty Lou Thomas, born in the great state of Arkansas in 1937, oldest of four children, passed from this world in June of 2023. Betty grew up on a farm and was driving a tractor at the tender age of 12. Betty’s employment career required moves from Arkansas to Tennessee where she met her second husband, Harold. Harold loved Betty’s sons, Jim and Jamie, so much he adopted them. Betty was an avid sports fan who enjoyed both bowling and golf. Betty’s other hobbies were painting, ceramics, a seamstress, and an avid reader. Betty was preceded in death by both husbands, two brothers (Darrell and Bob), her two sons, and her sister Lyda.
