Beulah L. Ammerman Udell, 95, was called home to be with our Lord on February 13, 2013. Funeral Services were held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa, AZ. Beulah was born September 17, 1917 in West Lima, WI; the daughter of the late Leo & Beulah Burt Ammerman. She was preceded in death by Spencer J. Udell, her loving husband of 67 years, and her grandson, Mark Spencer Udell, of Oklahoma. Beulah and Spencer lived in Rockland, WI where they owned and operated a general store and moved to Tucson, AZ in 1953. She was an elementary school librarian for many years in the Tucson School District and served in leadership roles for the Tucson Women’s Auxillary of U.S. Postal Letter Carriers. They retired in Pinetop, AZ and were members of the White Mountain Baptist Church in Showlow. In 1995, Spencer and Beulah moved to Mesa, and after the passing of her beloved husband in early 2004 she resided with her daughter and family in Gilbert, AZ. Beulah was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Udell Goar and son-in-law, Lionel Goar of Gilbert, AZ, her son, Donald S. Udell and daughter-in-law Myrna Goar Udell of Oklahoma City, OK, grandson Scott Goar of Gilbert, granddaughters Brenda Goar Bevilacqua of Mesa, Mindy Udell of Edmond, OK and great-grandson Spencer Belanger of Edmond, OK. Beulah will be so greatly missed by her family . . . until the time comes we are all together again.
