Beverly June (Carey) Thomas, 82, of Mesa, AZ (formerly Columbus Junction, IA), entered her Rest on February 2, 2013. A memorial service will be held at Broadway Christian Church (www.bccmesa.com), Mesa, AZ, on Saturday, February 9 at 11 am. Beverly was born on May 11, 1930, New Boston, IL. Beverly moved to Arizona in 1964 and retired from Motorola after more than 30 years. Beverly’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her large family who were spread out from NY to CA. Beverly will be missed by her 4 children: Kathy Stair (husband, Randy)-Norcross, GA; Gaye Carpenter (husband, Greg)-Weeki Wachee, FL; Michele Blair (husband, Randy)-Mission Viejo, CA; Michael Thomas (wife, Terry)-Dryden, NY, and her 9 grandchildren: Doug Weaver (wife, Erica)-Peoria, AZ; Jake Blair (wife, Sandy)-San Francisco, CA; Leslie Williams (husband-Erik)-Ladera Ranch, CA; Julie Tuttle (husband, Ryan), Tucker, GA; Lindsay Luton (husband, Nathan)-Mesa, AZ; Jonathon Blair-Seal Beach, CA; Bradley Stair-Myrtle Beach, SC; Michaela Ranney, (husband, John)-Nashville, TN; Regan Thomas-Romulus, NY, and 10 great grandchildren: Blake Weaver-Peoria, AZ; Christian Weaver-Peoria, AZ; Gabriella Berne-Luton, Mesa, AZ; Logan Brown-Weaver ,Peoria, AZ; Samantha Tuttle, Tucker, GA; Aidan Tuttle, Tucker, GA; Logan Tuttle-Tucker, GA; Havila Williams-Ladera Ranch, CA; Ian Luton-Mesa, AZ; Elias Williams-Lader Ranch, CA, and her sister, Marilyn (Carey) Stapp-Columbus Junction; sister Shirley (Carey) Hendrickson (husband, Ray)-Iowa City, IA; and sister-in-law, Barbara High (husband, Howard), Muscatine, IA. Beverly has been preceded in death by her brother Bob Carey of Columbus Junction, IA and her grandson, Russell B. Weaver of Madison, GA.
