Our father passed away January 17, 2010 in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 86.  He was born in Detroit, Michigan August 8, 1923 and worked his life as a meat cutter.  He worked as a civil servant employee at the Williams Air Force Base commissary until he retired in 1983.  He was also a veteran of World War II and served both in the European Theater and in the Philippines.  Carl Wilke quietly slipped away and passed over to be reunited with Ruth, his wife of over 20 years.  Carl Wilke is survived by his three children, Paul, Bob and Julie and Family Friend, Joe Scalise.  Carl was blessed to have 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sisters, Helen ‘Ozzie’ Rose and Eleanor Bricker.
