Carol Joanne Then, 68 of St. Paul, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 3, 2025.

She was born on September 30, 1957, in Bloomington, MN.

Carol was devoted and loving wife of 48 years to Scott Then; a proud mother of Karen (Matt) Broderson, Kurt (Corinne) Then and Allison (Matt) Weiss; and a cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren, Grayson, Chase, Holden, Cole, Marshall, Cora, Eli, Charlotte and Camille, whom she loved very much.

She was also a sister to Dan (Betty) Rydberg, Mike (Rosie) Rydberg, Carl (Marilyn) Rydberg and Bob (Jackie) Rydberg; and a sister-in-law to Robyn Rydberg; and an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Carl and Dorothy Rydberg; and her brothers, John and David Rydberg.

Carol truly believed that every day was a blessing. She loved being a snowbird during the winters in Arizona and spending summers at the lake with her family in Minnesota. She was so loved and will be deeply missed by all.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Woodbury Lutheran Church. Woodbury Lutheran Church-Valley Creek Campus, 7380 Afton Road, Woodbury, MN 55125. Office:(651)739-5144

There will be a gathering with refreshments to share memories of Carol after the service.
