Carolyn J. Warner, 81, passed away peacefully on July 14th, at her home in Mesa, Arizona while surrounded by all her children and dear friend Jay Merritt. Carolyn was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky on January 21, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James A. Warner. Carolyn is survived by her three children, Janet Warner Lucchesi, James S. Warner and Jill Warner (Savino Palomarez) who all reside in Mesa; six grandchildren, Nikki (Andrea), Cara, Matthew, DJ (David), Dillon and Joshua; three great children, Alexandra (Lexi), Amelie and Ryder; and her brother; Charles Daniel Pierce of Hoopeston, Illinois. Carolyn moved to Mesa in 1971 after raising her family with Jim while he served on several USAF bases across the world. Carolyn retired as an IRS Auditor. Carolyn enjoyed traveling, estate sale shopping, gambling, time with friends and above all her favorite was time with family.

A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held Monday, July 20, 2020 at 10:30am at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, Arizona.

Carolyn will be laid to rest at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona alongside her late husband, James Warner, in a private ceremony on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
