Charles Brent Hancock, age 86, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on July 10, 1940, in Cardston, Alberta, Canada, to Royal and Melba Hancock.
A skilled carpenter by trade and a faithful servant at heart, Charles spent his life building—not just with wood and hands, but through quiet acts of service, devotion to his faith, and deep love for his family.
Charles served an LDS mission in the California Mission from 1960 to 1962, a foundational period of dedicated service that set the tone for how he lived the rest of his life. Whether crafting something with his hands or stepping in to help a neighbor in need, he found his greatest joy in lifting others.
He is survived by his beloved wife, LaPreal Hancock; his eight children, Laurie, Kevin, Ken, Steven, Scott, Bruce, Blaine, and Kristine; as well as 31 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward his legacy of faith and hard work.
