Passed Away on July 24, 2020


Charles David Weatherford passed away on July 24th, 2020. He was born in Phoenix, Az on November 5th, 1946 to parents Daniel and Frances Weatherford.

Dave, (as he was known by family and close friends), retired from Pinal county facilities as a maintenance supervisor in 2013.

Dave was called to serve his country in June of 1966. He was honorably discharged from the Army in July of 1968 after serving his country for one year in Vietnam.

Dave leaves behind his beloved wife Irma Weatherford, son Michael Weatherford, sister Tammy Pace, brothers Danny and Dale Weatherford, stepdaughters Deborah Robles and Melissa Gollihar and his two loving granddaughters Kyra Grace and Chloe Gollihar.

He is predeceased by his sister Sherri Kurtz and his parents.

Dave will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him.

He enjoyed fishing and being in the outdoors. He also cherished time with his granddaughters and attending activities where he was their biggest cheerleader.

Dave was a problem solver and took pride in completing difficult tasks with great enthusiasm and positivity.

Dave will live forever in the hearts of all who met him. He will be cherished and remembered as a kind, gentle and non-judgmental soul.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday August 6th, 2020 at 10:00AM at Mountain View Funeral Home & cemetery located at 7900 E. Main St. Mesa, Az 85207.

    We miss you already Dave, can’t believe you are really gone. Will never forget your help and kindness when we had problems with our house……or when you were at our home for Christmas. Thank you for being a great brother and taking me to the hospital so I could see Dale, you don’t know how much I appreciated that sweet gesture. To me, you will always be “Brother Dave”.
