Chuck Lewis was born on April 13, 1952 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, the youngest of three sons, to Lyle and Dorothy Lewis. He attended Panhandle School for his primary education and graduated from Sioux County High School in 1970. Following high school, Chuck went to the University of Nebraska Technical Agriculture to complete a degree in Agriculture Conservation and Civil Engineering Technology. After graduation, he secured a job at Gifford Hill in Gering, Nebraska. He married Rebecca Remillard on September 1, 1972 in Spencer, Iowa. They made their home in Scottsbluff, Nebraska for five years before moving to Mesa, Arizona in 1978. Chuck worked as a grocery warehouseman and was a small business owner until his health declined. He enjoyed hunting as a young man, stained glass and tinkering on anything mechanical- especially antique fans. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will truly be missed. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years, Becky, his daughter Ashley Grommon (Travis), grandson, Jameson Grommon, brother, Duane Lewis (Edna), nephews, nieces and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Arthur and son, Joshua.
