Forever In the Hearts They Leave Behind

Christine Marie Morones

April 17, 1950 – July 26, 2020

Christine Marie Morones, 70, was born and raised in Arizona. She passed away in her home, in Mesa, on July 26, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones.

Chris, as called by her friends and family, was a devoted wife, hands on mother, doting grandma/great grandma, a big sister and a friend one would love to have. She always had a smile on her face and one of the most infectious laughs. She loved a reason to party and planned the best get-togethers. She was not just all beauty but also brains. She was witty and always had a comeback waiting for you. Chris was a girly girl who loved diamonds and pearls but you could also catch her in the backyard mowing the lawn. She had “Tina Turner” hair, always wore red lipstick and refused to wear hospital gowns; You best believe she brought her cheetah print night-gowns. We will forever miss her special smile, caring heart and her warm embrace.

She is preceded in death by her son, Peter Morones. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Pete Morones, and her three daughters: Melinda Bragna, Adri Ramsay & Kristi Hernandez. As well as 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery in Mesa, AZ on November 6th, 2020 @ 11:00 a.m.
