Daphne Millwee Hallford of Mesa, AZ passed away on February 19, 2015. Her family was at her side. She passed at the age of 81 in Gilbert, AZ at Banner Gateway hospital. Daphne was born in Quitaque, Texas on 28 February 1933. Her parents moved the family to New Mexico around 1935 and then settled in Coolidge, AZ by 1940. Her parents, Joe & Lily Millwee, are survived by their oldest daughter Ima June, Daphne was the middle child, Bryant was the youngest son. Daphne was raised with her siblings in the Coolidge and Casa Grande area until she moved to Mesa in the early 1960’s. She started working for a fledgling Bingham Equipment Company in 1957, started only two years earlier by Norm Bingham in 1955. She remained working at Bingham for the next 41 years, ultimately retiring in 1998. Most of her career at Bingham was as the accounting supervisor. Daphne had four children, she is survived by her two daughters Darlene Nolan and Patricia Shepherd, and their husbands Milt and Paul. Her two sons, Timothy and Michael, passed away in 1994 and 2012, respectively. She is also survived by her Grandson Steve Lee, wife Angie, and two great granddaughters, Samantha and Rachel. Daphne was laid to rest at Mountain View Desert Star Mausoleum, Roses Corridor, Column P, Level 2B, 7900 E. Main St, Mesa, AZ. The family suggests donations are made to a charity of choice. Rest in Peace Daphne, knowing your family loved you and will miss you dearly.
