Darlene D. Bach of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Peoria, died peacefully on June 11, 2013 after a long illness. She was born on March 27, 1927 in Exeter, NE to Rex and Gladys Green. She married Eugene Bach on November 9, 1944 in Gulfport, MS. He survives. She is also survived by her 3 daughters: Teresa (Dennis) Henrichs of Greensboro, NC, Sandra (Thomas) Ebel of Peoria, IL and Barbara (Jon) Ries of Layton, UT; her grandchildren Kenneth (Paula) Askew, Dominic Ebel, Jenny Ries, and Samantha Ries. Also surviving are 3 great-grandchildren: Jesse, Matthew and Katie Askew. She moved to Peoria as a young girl, graduated from Peoria High School and worked for several companies, including as a claims adjuster for Allstate for many years. She was also active in the Girl Scouts when her daughters were young. Darlene and Gene retired to Mesa in the late 1980’s. They enjoyed wintering in Mesa and spending the summers at their home in Show Low, AZ. Private services were held in Mesa.
