David Guy Fullwood
David Guy Fullwood, age 79, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on June 20, 2026.
David lived a life centered around family, love, hard work, and helping others. He shared 61 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sonja—a beautiful legacy of commitment, devotion, and partnership. David was a hardworking man who loved working with his hands. Whether it was fixing something, building something, or lending a hand to someone in need, he was always willing to help. He had a generous heart and was the kind of person who would show up for others.
David is survived by his wife, Sonja; his children, Troy Fullwood (Kim) and Christine Green (Tim); his nine grandchildren, Lauren, Meghan, Allie, Hunter, Logan, Jack, Gracie, Camden, and Parker; and his seven great-grandchildren. David’s family was one of the greatest joys of his life. His love, presence, and the memories shared with him will continue to live on through each generation of his family.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ 85207. The memorial service will take place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a reception from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to gather, share stories, and honor the life and memory of David.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered. Following the service, a post-interment gathering will be held at the Green family home, 4711 E. Des Moines St., Mesa, AZ 85205. Food and refreshments will be served, and all attendees are welcome to share in this time of remembrance.
