David M. Gamboa, age 88, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, July 28, 2019. He was born on July 10, 1931 in Phoenix, Arizona to David and Petra Gamboa. He lived in the Phoenix area all his life. David, who worked on the assembly line as a plater for Motorola, is survived by his wife of 68 years, Patsy A. Gamboa. David and Patsy were married June 23, 1951. “Little Tata” enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the casino and dog track.
Although David was not rich in money, he was the wealthiest man alive in terms of being blessed with friends and family that truly loved him. He touched the hearts of many through his charismatic personality. His love for life will forever be remembered by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
David is survived by children, David Gamboa, Rosanne (Robert) McCauley, and Frank (Rosie) Gamboa; 10 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Sister Barbara Ann Gamboa. David is preceded in death by his parents, several siblings, his daughter-in-law, Nancy and his great granddaughter, Renee.
David enjoyed bowling, golf, billiards, basketball, and football. He enjoyed watching the many children in his life grow and have families of their own while always lecturing them on how to become a millionaire by listening to Dave Ramsey and following his advice.
