David Smith, 74, of Queen Creek, AZ, passed away January 25, 2013. Dave began his career at Motorola Semiconductor. Career advancements took him to Cupertino, CA (Silicon Valley) where he dedicated his entire career to the semiconductor industry. In retirement, Dave enjoyed golfing and traveling the United States with wife, Carol, in their RV. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Albert Smith. He is survived by his wife, Carol, their sons, Randy Smith and Ron Smith, and their daughter, Lisa Taber. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, one great grandson, his mother, Dorothy Smith, and his brothers Tom Smith and Paul Smith. A Celebration of Life will be held at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd, Queen Creek, AZ, Tuesday February 5, 2013 at 2:00pm.
