Debbie Carol Blythe, 59 completed her earthly race on Sunday morning March 6, 2022 with her daughters by her side at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. Debbie blessed this earth with her birth on July 1, 1962. She was preceded in death by her mother Billie Jean Fuqua of Paducah, Kentucky and her father John James Foreman of Salem, Kentucky. She was also preceded in death by her sister Suwon Louise Ross who resided in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Debbie accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and rededicated herself to our savior in her later years at Heartland Baptist Church in Paducah, Kentucky as a member.

She graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School in 1980 and attended Paducah Community College for 2 1/2 years for special education therapy. She has worked for Wesley Medical Center/Finance Department, Krogers, Sears Roebuck and Co. and Western Baptist Hospital before working as a medical records clerk at Lourdes Hospital. She was employed with Lourdes until December 2009.

Debbie illuminated love to family, friends, and even strangers. She was a wise talker who extended herself, even when she didn’t have much to give. Even through her trials, she remained nothing but positive and a light to others. She was a woman of faith that knew and dearly loved our Creator until the very end. She was a fighter and so very strong, despite her physical weakness. She enjoyed watching Madea movies and plays the most, along with Lifetime and Hallmark movies. She also delighted in spending time with her daughters and granddaughter in every way possible.

She leaves precious and loving memories to her daughters, Shawon Blythe and Shaire Blythe; her granddaughter, Shania Simmons; and her nephew, Rod Ford; her aunts, Carol Terry; and Almeda Hunt, plus many more family and friends.

I will surely miss my friend. Debbie always had an upbeat spirit that always made me feel good when I would visit her at the Nursing Home in Paducah. I could talk to her about anything that was going on in my life and she would give me some great advice. I would cry about something and she would say to me. It’s going to be alright . I love and miss you my friend ❤️
