Delphine E. de Masi, known as “Dottie” to her family and friends, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2013, in Mesa, Arizona. Born on January 20, 1925 in Wabeno, Wisconsin to Adin and Maude Fuller, Dottie moved to Arizona in 1946 with her husband, Charles A. de Masi. She enjoyed her career spanning 38 years working for Mountain Bell/US West as an operator and fraud investigator, and proudly served as a union representative with the Communication Workers of America. Preceded in death by her husband Charles A. de Masi and her oldest son, Lt. Michael A. de Masi, she is survived by her sons Chuck (Lin), Ken (Linda), and Jon (Pam) of Mesa, AZ, Dan (Angel) of Carmichael, CA, Marty (Dorothy) of Payson, AZ, and her daughters Carla Fuller (Jim) of Green Bay, WI, and Laurie Bilyea (Tom) of Gilbert, AZ, along with eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild. Private gravesite services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa, with a public memorial service celebrating her life to be held in the Spring of 2014. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to Hospice of the Valley in her name.
