Denise Annette Berg (Dee) passed at her home on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the age of 52. She and her twin sister Tina were born March 9, 1974 in Denver, Colorado to parents Tom and Connie; joining her older sister Dani, and later followed by their younger brother Tommy. She graduated in 1992 from Arvada High School in Arvada, Colorado. She met her husband Paul in 1994, and they were married the following year in 1995. They started their family in 2002 beginning with Shawn, followed by Caleb, Rachel, and Sara.
Denise worked hard homeschooling their kids while maintaining a loving household for all 6 of them. In April 2016 they moved their family to Arizona where they continued to raise their family, remain devoted to God and their church, made lifelong friends, and enjoyed the Arizona desert.
Denise is survived by her children Shawn, 24, Caleb, 22, Rachel, 20, and Sara, 18, her mother Connie, her sisters Dani and Tina, her brother Tommy, her boyfriend Andrew, and many family and friends. It gives us great comfort to know she joins her husband Paul, her dad Tom, and her grandparents in Heaven.
Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery, 7900 East Main Street, Mesa, Arizona 85207 on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 11am, followed by a graveside service at 1 pm. Reception will follow at 2:30pm at Cervantes Restaurant, 3318 South Mill Avenue, Tempe, Arizona 85282.
