Mrs. Dolores Armida Eulate (Duarte), age 89, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona.
Dolores is survived by her son, Joe Eulate, and daughter-in-law, Karen Eulate; her grandchildren, Brooke Eulate, and her fiancé, Eric Brinker; Paige and Shea Sheppard; and Kellen Eulate along with her great-grandchildren, Scott and Savannah Sheppard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe V. Eulate, and her son, Daniel A. Eulate.
Born on December 20, 1936, in Phoenix, Arizona, Dolores was the oldest of three children born to Ernest and Marguerite Duarte. She met the love of her life, Joe, at a dance in Mesa. They married in 1960 and built a life together centered on faith, family, and service to others.
Dolores and Joe spent their lives serving their community through the Lions Club, Boy Scouts, church ministries, classroom volunteering, and many other activities. While she gave generously to her community, her greatest joy came from her family. She loved hearing about the activities, accomplishments, and everyday lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether attending a sporting event, school activity, musical performance, or special celebration, Dolores was happiest when supporting those she loved. Her caring nature extended beyond her own family, and she became a second mother to many as they were growing up. Her home, guidance, and encouragement touched the lives of countless young people over the years.
A longtime member of Velda Rose United Methodist Church, Dolores served faithfully and found great comfort in her church family and her faith. She was known for her kindness, steady presence, and willingness to help others.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dolores’s life at a visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Funeral Home & Cemetery, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, Arizona 85207. A graveside service will immediately follow, with a reception afterward at the home of Joe and Karen Eulate.
Dolores will be remembered for her faith, her generous spirit, and the genuine interest she took in the lives of others. The love, encouragement, and support she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
