Don Albertis Dayley, 78, of Gilbert, Arizona, was born on June 6, 1934, in Pocatello, Idaho, and passed away on July 12, 2012, surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents Lyle Dayley and Bessie Wright. Don is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years Karolea Hansen Dayley; by his 6 children and their spouses Lynette (James) Anderson, Alan (Cyndi) Dayley, Jon (Irene) Dayley, Glenn (Tamara) Dayley, Karen (Michael) Cluff, Angela (Brett) Buchanan; by his 23 grandchildren; and by his 4 brothers and their spouses Keith (Betty) Dayley, Kent (Geneve) Dayley, Bern (Margie) Dayley, and Gerald (Sharon) Dayley. He loved sharing his talents in woodworking, piano tuning, square foot gardening and solar ovens. After serving in the army, he served a mission in the Southern States for the LDS church. He faithfully served in many church callings, including as a bishop. His career was mostly in service to the disabled and to those improving their employment. Visitation at 9 am on Wednesday, July 18th followed by the funeral service at 10:30 am at the LDS Church at 777 E. Elliot Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85234.
