Donald Charles Stahl, 76 of Apache Junction AZ, passed away on Sunday January 19th 2014 in Mesa AZ, after a one year battle with cancer. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Jean Stahl. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Marjorie and two sons Wayde and Colton and their wives Kim and Susan. He also has three grandchildren Tyler, Tracey, and Eric as well as a great granddaughter Lillian. Don served as a Radarman in the United States Navy, was a member of the Phoenix Police Reserve, and worked as an electronic technician. He and his family have lived in the valley for 51 years. Don played a mean trombone, loved fixing things and was always working on something. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday January 23rd, at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery 7900 East Main Street Mesa AZ 85207. The family will greet guests from 1:30-2:00pm, prior to the service.
