Dr. Anthony Michael Dominic, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Monday, 3 April 2017.  Born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1939 to Michael and Nancy (née Baldelli) Dominic, Nino as he was known to family and close friends, graduated from Rayen High School and Youngstown State University before entering the D. T. Watson School to become a licensed physical therapist.  Later, he was accepted to the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa from which he graduated in 1975.  Dr. Dominic realized his dream to become a family practitioner when he opened his office in Cortland, Ohio where he served his patients until 1989.  Upon relocation to Mesa, Arizona and a brief respite from medicine, he acknowledged that life without his patients would be a life unfulfilled; therefore, he again began administering family practice medicine to the community of Apache Junction, Arizona until 2015 when he retired and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to be closer to family.

Dr. Dominic leaves behind his loving wife Betty (née DiTommaso) with whom he shared a fifty-five year marriage.  Their love and dedication to one another demonstrated trust, compassion, and respect.  Survived by his daughter of Atlanta, Georgia Angela Dominic Bleacher (John C. Bleacher, M.D.),  and his son of Columbus, Ohio Anthony M. Dominic, Jr. D.O. ( Kara McKenna Dominic), he also leaves behind six grandchildren Nina Bleacher, John Patrick Bleacher (Zoe Bleacher), Cristina Bleacher, Jacob Dominic, Jordan Dominic, and Riley Kate Dominic. He also leaves behind a loving sister Lucy Ann Johnson.

While dedicated to his family and his patients, Dr. Dominic enjoyed many hobbies including travel and woodworking.  However, he always made time for daily quiet reflection with his Bible.
