Dwight Edward Westover, 98, married to Bonnie Wagner Westover, was born in Wichita, KS, to Courtney and Florence Westover, passed away September 23, 2014 in Mesa, AZ. Dwight married Zola Montgomery in 1939, and they settled in Windom, KS. They had three sons (Billy, Robert, and David) and a daughter (Delores) who died in infancy. He met Bonnie Wagner, a widow and fellow resident of Roadhaven Resort in 2005, and they began spending time together. They fell in love and at the age of 90, Dwight proposed marriage to Bonnie. He promised her 10 years and gave her 8 years of happiness. Dwight retired from W-R Milling Co. shortly after Zola passed away in 1980. In 1981, he married Arlene Stansel, and they began traveling throughout the United States. Eventually, they found their Winter home at Roadhaven Resort in Apache Junction, AZ. Arlene passed away in 2001. Dwight loved his family, travel and camping, fishing, reading Western novels, music, crafts, golfing, and dancing. He was a Mason, and served as Worthy Patron when Zola was alive. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his sons Billy (Dalene) of Hutchinson, KS, and Robert (Carol) of Tehachapi, CA, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ada (Westover) Weddel, His daughter Delores, and his son, David, who died in Viet Nam in 1969. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Friday October 3, 2014 at Medora Community Bible Church on Medera Rd in Hutchinson, KS.
