Ernest Otis Tyree, 66, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Gauley Bridge, West Virginia, died Thursday, November 23, 2017 in Banner Hospital in Mesa, Arizona.  He was the son of the late Mack Lawrence and Hester Brewer Tyree.  Ernest was born in Gauley Bridge on August 18, 1951 and worked as a collection specialist at Wells Fargo Bank until his retirement in January of 2017.

Ernest is survived by his wife, Sandra Alice Reynolds Tyree; son, Kevin James; daughter, Cheryl Tyree Gliebe both of Mesa, Arizona; two grandchildren, Dennis Gliebe of Tempe, Arizona and Joshua Gliebe of Mesa, Arizona; and two sisters, Carolyn Sue Nason of Gilbert, Arizona and Barbara Jean Tyree of Chandler, Arizona.  He is preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Lee Tyree of Buckeye, Arizona; Richard E. Tyree of Tempe, Arizona, and James E. Tyree of Quaker Hill, Connecticut.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, Arizona  85207 with Pastor Tommy Foster officiating.

    I am so very sorry Sandy and family. Ernie was always a good guy and the little kids loved the way he used to do Donald Duck. Love and prayers to you all.

    RIP Uncle Ernie, I wish I could have been there to see you before you went home. I love you. When you see my Dad tell him I miss him and give hugs to him, Grandma, Uncle Richard, and Uncle Ron.
