March 18, 1928 – October 20, 2021


Erwin Victor Pichler, “The Pich”, of Mesa, AZ, passed away on October 20, 2021.  He was born March 18, 1928, in Milwaukee, WI to Caspar and Lucie Pichler.  Erv lived in Milwaukee for 59 years. He worked as an engineer and then became the CEO and President of Marlar, Johnson and Allan Insurance and Bonds, a division of O’Malley Investments.  He proudly served in the US Army Air Corp and was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict.  He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Barbara Culpepper Pichler and step-sons, Calvin and Dale Bowes. A memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday November 17, 2021, at Victory Lutheran Church, 5946 E University, Mesa AZ 85205.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the food bank at Victory Lutheran Church or to the Arizona Humane Society, care of the development team to 1521 W Dobbins Rd, Phoenix AZ 85041.
