It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our sister, mother, grandmother (great) and friend. Eunice walked gracefully into the arms of her Creator on the morning of December 26, 2009 in Mesa, AZ. Born an Illinois farm girl in 1922, no one embraced family and friends like Eunice. Kind and known for a good laugh, she spent her time over the years living and caring for those she held most dear. Retired from the Maricopa Co. Assessor’s Office, Eunice served in the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, enjoyed her coffee Klatch and attended weekly church services. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin E. Clark. Her survivors include daughter Joyce Hounshell (James); sister Priscilla Stiers; two grandchildren, Rhonda Jafri (Hasan), Brian Hounshell (Annell); a great-grandson, Bo Hounshell and many enduring friends of her court.
