Evelyn Jane (Pelfrey) Kosciuk, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, in Mesa, Arizona. Born on November 18, 1942, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Henry and Alice (Sheldon) Pelfrey, Evelyn lived a life filled with creativity and deep devotion to family.

She earned an associate’s degree in accounting, reflecting a thoughtful and diligent spirit that carried through both her professional and personal pursuits. She had been an accountant for Rural Metro Ambulance company, which merged into becoming known as the Southwest Ambulance company, for almost 15 years. Her love for crafting became a joyful outlet—she especially delighted in receiving kits from Michael’s and spending countless hours immersed in creative projects. Cross-stitching held a special place in her heart, each piece crafted with care and patience.

When not creating with needle and thread, Evelyn could often be found enjoying romance novels, drawn to their heartfelt stories and timeless themes of connection. These quiet joys brought color to her days and reflected the warmth she shared with others.

Evelyn’s greatest pride was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Bridgette Novak, and her son, Henry Kosciuk. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her two granddaughters, Mackenzie and Rylie, who brought light and laughter into her life.

Though she may no longer be present in body, Evelyn’s memory lives on through the love she gave so freely and the beauty she created with her hands. May her life be celebrated with every stitch sewn and every story shared in remembrance.
