Frances (Fran) Ruth Sherman, entered eternal life surrounded by family on Friday, August 29, 2025, after a short illness, she was 84. Fran was born on April 24, 1941 in White City, TN to James Mitchell and Frances Pauline Curtis.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James Ray and Darrell and sisters Sylvia and Linda Gail

Fran is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years John R Sherman children, Gregg Arbizu (Vivian), Kelly Hope (Tanner), John A Sherman (Jennifer) and Deborah Sherman.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Melanie, Melissa, London, Levi, Ava, William, Jeremy, Destiny, Devon, Darrance and Daland, great grandchildren, Hatsune, Isaiah, Dominick “Prince”, Aniyah, Mila, Kyson, Amirah, Amaris, Emmerie, Aylin, Jaliyah and sisters Jan Collis (Mike) and Pam Jaques (Mark).

Fran was also a proud Air Force Veteran serving her country.

Fran enjoyed to travel. She and John traveled to Europe numerous times, drove the Alaska Highway and enjoyed visiting family and friends throughout the United States. Fran would also spend the summers in Heber-Overgaard spoiling her grandchildren. Fran loved playing cards with friends, golfing and playing games. Her family was everything to her and she doted on her grandchildren.  Her big passion was cooking and baking especially around the holidays. She always had a smile and never made an enemy.

Fran, mom will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank Heart of Healing Hospice, especially Bobbie Boyd and her amazing nurse Kylie.

May God bless this entire family with his mighty love and wrap his loving arms around this entire family during this hard time.     I loved the few times I got to meet your mom. She was the sweetest little lady!! Wedding shopping with Kelly, Fran and friends was a blast! May you all find peace in this hard time! Love you Kelly!
