Frances Wynola Medford, 94, passed away peacefully at her home in Surprise, Arizona on February 6, 2024.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, it was there Wynola met and married her husband Fred, and they were together for 65 years until his passing. During their marriage they had 4 children and relocated to sunny California to continue raising their family. Later she and Fred settled in Arizona for their final years.

Besides caring for her family and home, Wynola enjoyed volunteering at the kids’ schools along with serving and teaching at church. Throughout her whole life, she showed her love for God, her family and friends, and everyone she came in contact with. People responded to her gracious southern charm and playful sense of humor and oftentimes remarked that Wynola was the sweetest person they had ever met.

She is survived by her children Don Medford, Floresville, Texas; Pam {David) Gilitiuk, Peoria, Arizona; Pat {Jon) Worthing, Santa Clarita, California along with various other family and friends including numerous grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred, daughter Dianne Long, daughter-in-law Debbie Medford, and grandson Brian Medford.

Services will be held Friday, FebruarY. 23rd at 2pm at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery located at
?900 E. Main Street, Mesa, Arizona 85207.
