We are heartbroken to announce Frank Czuchra passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on April 15, 2023 with family at his home in Mesa, Arizona. Frank was born to Wojciech (voychek) and Anelia (anel-ya) on May 31, 1926. He grew up on a farm in Dąbie, Poland with his younger brother Joe and younger sister Mary.

After surviving the Holocaust, Frank immigrated to Chicago to live with his aunt while following the American dream. Frank was a neighbor to Elizabeth and her family. After run-ins on the steps of their homes on whipple street their friendship grew over time until Frank and Elizabeth married in 1955. Elizabeth gave birth to Steve in 1958 and later Henry in 1961. Frank provided for his family as an industrial employee with AT&T until 1988 when they moved to Arizona upon his retirement. They were married for 69 years. He is also survived by his four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Frank was an extraordinary man who was observant and soft spoken; he was full of wisdom and had a kind soul. Frank enjoyed being outside where he would tinker with anything he could get his hands on and where he could smell his roses. He had a big heart and loved his family and friends endlessly. The family requests prayers during this difficult time of losing Frank, who was the cornerstone of our family and will always hold a place in our hearts.

In the words of our beloved Frank…. “Stolat”
