Gary Peter Klimmek

June 12, 1943 – April 5, 2022

Gary Peter Klimmek, of Mesa, AZ (formerly of Minneapolis, MN), passed away at home on April 5,2022 after a multiple health complications.  He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia (Bassuener) Klimmek.  The Klimmeks were married in 1979 and Trish was both the love of his life and his best friend.  Gary’s last days at home he received loving care from East Valley Hospice.

Gary was a master of many fields.  After several years he found his true joy was in carpentry and construction.  He was always one to volunteer to make something for or help out his friends.  Throughout his life, Gary loved and enjoyed raising basset hounds and greyhounds.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvera and Raymond Klimmek; brothers John and Ronald; daughter, Deborah Bingham; and step-son, Richard Genosky, Jr.

He is survived by sons; David Lindstrom and John Klimmek (Rose) step-daughters, Becky Ribich (Dean) and Mona Stranberg (Scot); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be private with family at a later date.
