Grace Lim passed away on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at her home in Scottsdale, Arizona after her battle with cancer.  Grace was born on December 25th, 1953 in Vientiane, Laos to the parents of Tiane and Lou Limsakoune.  Growing up, she was known as the child of “Seng Lao” or the bright star of Laos, while enjoying the latest films in her family’s own movie theatre.  In the mid-1970’s, Grace moved to the United States where she studied at a university in Utah and eventually, collaborated with her siblings as an entrepreneur.

Grace is a loving sister, aunt, friend that enjoyed all types of hobbies.  Her zest for life included reading her collection of suspense novels, creating impressionistic oil-paintings, riding her bike, traveling the world, and most importantly, baking delicious breads and oatmeal cookies for all to enjoy.  Grace had a thoughtful, tenacious, and humorous character, all of which she embodied until the end.  She will never be forgotten.

Grace is survived by her seven (7) siblings, Phet Many, Ted Lim, Phet Yang, Tony Lim, Joy Limsakoune, Lanoi Limsakoune, Chacphet Limsakoune, their spouses, nephews, nieces, and the cutest grandkids.  We will miss Grace.  Thank you for the love and light you brought to us all.

Private services will be held.
