It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guy Colombo, who departed from us on March 26th, 2024, in Mesa, Arizona. Born on October 18, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, Guy was the cherished son of Guy and Victoria Colombo.

In the late 1970s, Guy ventured to Arizona, where he embraced the vibrant spirit of the Southwest. Throughout the following decades, he shared laughter and joy with countless friends, crafting enduring memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Guy’s life was colored by his passions, including his unwavering love for sports. He spent countless hours cheering on his favorite teams, from the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears to the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks. Additionally, he found excitement in the thrill of horse racing, a pastime that brought him joy and entertainment. Guy is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Victoria. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, survived by his devoted daughters, Jessica and Christy, his father, Guy, and his cherished grandchildren, Chloe, James, Brett, and Bradley.
In the tapestry of his life, Guy woven threads of friendship and family that will endure beyond his physical presence. He will be deeply missed by his many friends and relatives whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity. A private family gathering will be held to honor Guy’s memory, in a future date.
Though he may no longer walk beside us, Guy’s spirit will forever illuminate our lives with the brightness of his love and the warmth of his memories.

    he as well as all the Colombo’s I have been blessed to know in my life are good Souls pure people and upstanding citizens. I have known him over 40 years and felt as though he was a brother. my heart is saddened and life is a little different without him. but I will hold his love and light forever.
