Harold Lee Hewett March 31, 1921 – December 15, 2009. Harold, resident of Mesa, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family at the age of 88. He was born in Dodge County, MN, was a World War II Veteran, then later became the Controller and Financial Analyst for Western Can Company in San Francisco; CA. Harold loved life, valued his friends and family, and had a heart of gold. He loved fishing, barbequing (which he did exceptionally), and living in the mountains of California and Arizona. Harold will be deeply missed by his surviving wife Dottie, his son Bob Hewett, daughters Lillian Fortney and Elizabeth Hatlen, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and cousin Margaret Luckey. We all miss him and his great laughter. His life ended too suddenly, but he lived a full life.
