Hazel L. Boyd, formerly of Sunland Village, passed away on August 23. She was born in Bristow, Oklahoma, the middle child of seven, to Bonnie and Thurman Fender, on May 22, 1926. Mrs. Boyd is survived by one brother, Robert Fender of Corona, California and four nieces, Tina Blenkarn of Denver, Colorado; Debra Carleton of Corona, California; Stephanie Brasier of Mannford, Oklahoma and Sue  Earl of Clovis, California. She was married to the love of her life, Woody Boyd, for 67 years. They spent many happy days together traveling and enjoying life. Hazel was beautiful, kind, wise and loving. She spent considerable time volunteering for several good causes.   She will always be in our thoughts each and every day and will be sorely missed.  Our entire family will always love her.   Future celebration of life will be planned.

We enjoyed sharing a part of Hazel’s life and now miss our dear friend and neighbor. She liked our late afternoon get-togethers even though we didn’t play cards. Many a hug was exchanged over the years. Homer and Beth
