Helen Marie Morgan, 86, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2023 in Mesa, AZ. Helen was born on May 12, 1937 in Minot, ND to Lorentz and Jeanette Morgan. The family moved to Billings, Montana when she was a young child. She grew up in Billings and graduated from Billings Senior High School where she was a cheerleader and a majorette. She married Darrell Solberg in 1956 and they had two children, Doug and Linda. The family moved to California where Helen worked as a medical secretary, and later moved to Arizona where she worked in the medical field and sold real estate. In 1993 she married Richard Diffenderfer. They lived in Florida and Northern Arizona before settling in their home in Fountain of the Sun in Mesa, AZ. Helen enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and bingo, bowling, knitting, and reading. She is preceded in death by her parents, older sister Carol, and husband Richard. She is survived by her children, Doug (Heidi) and Linda, grandchildren Josh (Brittanny), Jessica and Ashley, 7 great grandchildren, sisters Janet and Barbara (Carl), and nieces and nephews.
