Passed Away on October 4, 2017


Ila Mae Wolff, of Gilbert/Mesa, AZ,  passed away October 4, 2017 at the age of 95. She was born in 1922 to parents Robert and Clarice. She was preceded in death by her husband Don and her grandson Geoff; sisters Janette, Pauline, Elaine, Mary Lou, and Dorothy. Ila Mae is survived by her daughters Susan and Mary; grandchildren Schaun, Monica, and Michael; great grandchildren William, Samantha, Reba, Hunter, Hannah, Hayden, Nick, and Ryan; and great-great grandson, Bruce. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and one cousin, Donna.

Ila Mae grew up in the Midwest where she raised her family. She enjoyed hosting family and friends, camping, grouse hunting, snowmobiling, and loved playing cards. She worked at the Motor Works, Kroger Grocery Store, and Comers Bakery. She moved to Arizona in 1973 where she worked at Smitty’s Grocery Store in Mesa where she managed the bakery and later at a furniture store. She played cards up to the very end and became an avid reader of books.

A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207 at 1:00 pm on October 20, 2017.
