It brings the family great sadness to share with you the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Irene V. (Kinney) Mueller at 96 years of age in Mesa, Arizona. On February 12, 2022, Irene was welcomed with open arms by our Lord and Savior, her husband and our father Louis G. Mueller, Jr., her parents William Foster and Ruth V. (Overpeck) Kinney, her brothers Jason Kinney and William Kinney.
Irene was born on November 26, 1925 in Spring Mills, New Jersey. She married our father Louis G. Mueller Jr. June 21,1947 and then proceeded to live the Army wife’s life moving from state to state and even Germany while raising children. They eventually settled in Oakhurst, New Jersey and after retiring, Mom and Dad moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1978. She was a life member of the VFW in Eatontown, New Jersey. She enjoyed singing in the choir and staying active within both Eatontown United Methodist Church in New Jersey and Red Mountain United Methodist Church in Mesa, Arizona. The color blue, tulips, Jamocha shakes or any kind of ice cream covered in caramel sauce and International flavored coffees were her favorites. She loved cats, word search puzzles and playing bingo. But her greatest loves were her family.
She is greatly missed by her 7 children: Ruth Malick (Bob), Louise Mueller, Denise Hughes (Chris), Lia Mueller, Louis Mueller III, Kyla Strader and Jody Gearhart (Chris). 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
