James C. Edmonds, 73 years young, of Mesa, AZ passed away on August 12, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. Visitation will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery on August 18, 2017 from 10:00am to 12:00pm for viewing. Pastor Tommy Foster of Harmony Community Church will conduct a funeral service from 12:00 to 1:00pm.

Jim was born in Waterbury, CT to the late James and Mary Edmonds on May 5, 1944. He attended Croft High School and graduated in June of 1962. He enjoyed all sports, including golf, football, baseball and basketball; he went all-state in baseball, basketball and football, he also took great pride in being a member of the Spanish club in high school and acting as co-sports editor.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Joan, his sons, Sean & Michael and by his grandsons Jordan and Aydan; he is also survived by his brother Ron, his wife Janice and children Lance and Lisa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Neuropathy Action Foundation.
