James David “Buddy” Marlar, 68 of Maricopa, AZ passed away Monday November 29, 2010 in Maricopa, AZ. Mr. Marlar, a retired crane operator, was born in Welty, OK. He loved being with his family, gardening and hunting treasures in the desert. Survivors include his wife of 44 years Pamela, daughter Cindy Chance of Casa Grande, sons Tony of Casa Grande, Todd of Stanfield, and David of Chandler, sisters Sandra Greenrock of OK and Della Efird of TX, brother Robert L. Sands of OR, 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The visitation for Buddy will be from 5-6:00 pm Friday December 3, 2010, the funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm, both services at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ.
