James G Zeier, 84, passed away peacefully in his home on Feb 14, 2021. Jim was born on Feb 25th, 1936 in Madison Wisconsin to Frank and Clara Zeier. He had one sister Ruth Ann Casl.

Jim was an Air Force veteran of 25 years. He enlisted in September 1955 and was stationed at RAF Greenham Common where he met and married Cynthia Gough, his wife of 61 years. Jim and Cynthia had many different assignments around the world, such as RAF Mildenhall , Lakenheath and Iraklion AFB in Crete. They met many friends and enjoyed all their various assignments. Jim retired in May 1980 and worked civil service at Williams AFB and at Leisure World in Mesa.

Jim was a quiet man, but had a lively sense of humor. He loved visiting with his 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Jim loved England and enjoyed travel and food. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Jim is survived by his wife Cynthia, daughters, Kim ODonnell of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Debbie Sneath of Yorktown Virginia, Donna Odegard of Collierville Tennessee, and son James Zeier of Queen Creek Arizona. Jim had 11 grandchildren, Andrew, Stephen and Claire ODonnell, Brian and Austin Sneath, Amanda Debold and Danielle Pilat, Isabella, James, Olivia and Jaxon Zeier. He also had 2 great grandchildren, Charles ODonnell and Carter Nash Sneath.

Viewing will be held on Friday Feb 19th at 9am at Mountain View Cemetery and Mass will held at 10:30am at Holy Cross church 1244 Power Rd, Mesa.
