James Gordon Burr was born on May 6, 1924 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He passed away peacefully on February 25, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. James was the regional manager for both Rath and Monfort meat packing companies until retirement. He was a skilled carpenter and an avid fisherman. Jim is survived by his loving wife of sixty five years, Marilyn, and his five children; Kathleen (Timothy MacDonald), Thomas (Judith), Ann (Thomas Brodsky), Peter (Kathleen) and David, fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
