It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of James Prince Miller. Born April 9th 1928. He died at the age of 95 on February 25th 2024 in Mesa, Arizona. Surrounded by his loved ones.

James is survived by his one true love and wife of 75 years, Mary Miller. His three children and spouses; Wendy (Jonathan) Farko, Jimbo (Kathy) Miller and Cheryl Hardt. Eight Grandchildren and spouses Mary-Frances Farko, J.J.(Rachael ) Farko, Deana (Tim) Mishler, Babe Farko, Aaron (Samantha) Hardt, David Hardt, Nathan Hardt, Alex Hardt and Twelve Great-Grandchildren; Noah and Alice Farko; Lucas, Anthony Farko, Kayla, and Alyssa Mishler; Emma and Scarlett Hardt, Anastasia Hardt, Melanie, Paisley and James Hardt.

James grew up in Winslow, Arizona. Son of Woodard and Mildred Prince and grandparents Arlie and Estelle “Kate” Miller. A World War II Navy Veteran, James proudly served on the USS Bauer in 1945. James met his one true love, Mary, in September of 1948. Their love was one for the history books. Married in March of 1949, James and Mary were blessed to spend the next 75 years surrounded by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. James’s heart was filled with love, patience, determination and laughter. He was soft spoken and wore a smile on his face every day. James taught his family to work hard, be kind and to love. We will carry your memory and love in our hearts forever.
