Janice Irene Holloway joined her loved ones in Heaven on April 6, 2023 in Mesa, AZ. She passed peacefully surrounded by family.
Janice was born on March 26, 1933, to Agnes (Gannon) and James Kuhns in Arkansas City, Kansas.
She married Robert (Bob) Holloway in 1953 and they enjoyed 65 busy years together. They had 5 children and worked together on many business ventures, including restaurants, theme parks and residential and commercial real estate. Their adventures moved them from Kansas, to Branson, Missouri and finally to Scottsdale, AZ in 1971. They loved camping and fishing, especially with family, and traveling in their motorhome across the country. Until Bob’s passing in 2017, they were deeply involved in their church and her faith in our Lord and Savior never faltered.
Family was her treasure. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished time with them all and she was adored by them.
Janice is preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, her son Steve and her brother, Bill Kuhns.
She is survived by her children, Todd (Robin), Craig (Lori), Debby (Ed Garcia), Cindy (Rick) Dale, daughter-in-law Joyce, 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her family, but they will always keep her in their hearts, until they are together again.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank everyone for their prayers and support during this difficult time and for Holy Cross Hospice and their staff.
A private family gathering, and memorial will take place at a later date.
