Born on February 14, 1989, in Phoenix, Jared lived a life centered on love, family, and kindness. He wore his heart openly and never missed a chance to say, “I love you.”

Jared is survived by his partner, Chelsea; his beloved children, Gianna, John, Killian, and Tatum; his parents, Cliff and Dawn Brummett; his mother, Christine; his brothers, Hayden, Blaze and Devin; his sisters, Erica and Halie; his nieces, Madisyn and Gracie; his nephew, Talon; and countless other family members who meant so much to him and made it impossible to name them all.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Wilma Brummett; his grandmothers, Mary Sewards and Isabelle Major; and his grandfather, Ron Major.

Known for his love of animals, his big energy, and even bigger hugs, Jared found joy in being with family, playing with the littles, and working hard alongside his father in the family business. His children were his world. Some of the happiest moments of his life were spent making up for lost time through countless family gatherings that we will forever cherish. He never let a day go by without making sure the people he loved knew exactly how much they meant to him. Jared was also a huge Green Bay Packers fan — though we never held it against him.

A celebration of life will be held on May 29th at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery. A public viewing will be held from 1:00–2:00 p.m. A service for family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service at 3:00 p.m.

There will be an opportunity to share memories during the service to bring comfort to the family during this difficult time. Please share a funny story or whatever your heart is feeling.

The family will host a reception at Cliff and Dawn Brummett’s home following the services. All are welcome.

Though deeply missed, Jared’s greatest legacy is the love he gave so freely and the countless people who never had to wonder how much they were loved by him.

In lieu of flowers, an account is being established for his children. If you wish to donate, please contact Dawn Brummett.

I had known Jared since freshman year in high school he was always funny and witty along with his brothers that I played football with. I live in Louisiana so I won’t get to make the service but there in spirit we lost touch over the many years but I remember his funny jokes and laugh he’d get from it, go in peace my friend until the next time RIP may God be with you.

    An Irish blessing
May the sun shine upon your face and the wind at your back as the winds of destiny carry you aloft to dance in the stars.
See you later Jared love and comfort ahead to all 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️

Jared was the love of my life ❤️ he was My Best Friend, He was the my everything. Jared and me had so many plans and so many hopes and dreams that didn’t get to come true, but I will say one of the big dreams of his that did get to come true, was getting his dad back in his life and becoming a dad himself. Jared was one of the best fathers he loved those kids fiercely. When we had our daughter Tatum I knew right away that she was going to have him wrapped around her little itty bitty fingers. Tatum is his spitting image she is just a prettier version of her daddy. He loved that he always said from the second that we found out that we were having a little girl she’s going to have blue eyes she’s going to have lighter hair and she’s going to look just like me. I used to laugh and say well I guess we’ll see because our son has hazel eyes and he looks a lot like my side of the family. He definitely got what he wanted she copy and pasted him. Killian was his daddy’s best friend and their bond was so special and I will do everything I can to make sure that those memories are never forgotten. Me and Jared just celebrated our 7 year anniversary and 7 years was not anywhere near long enough. I will spend the rest of my life missing what could have been. Rest in peace babe I love you so much and I’ll see you on the other side
