Jean E. Jansen, 82, of Mesa, AZ passed away Friday August 5, 2011 in Mesa, AZ. Mrs. Jansen, a homemaker, was born in Pittsburg, PA. She is survived by her husband Louis Arthur Jansen, daughters Jean Ann Wallace and Laura Jean Irwin, sons Roy Louis Jansen and Kurt Louis Jansen, and sister Wilma Koenig. She was preceded in death by her son Karl Louis Jansen. Services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday August 13, 2011 at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AZ Humane Society, 9226 N 13th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021 or the charity of your choice.

    I’m so sorry about Jean, Louis. Even though we did not talk very often, she was my best friend. I would talk to you but I’m afraid I would be crying. Eddie and Jean will be together. I am think of all the kids. Love, Madeline Jansen

    I was sorry to hear that Aunt Jean passed away. I didn’t see her as much as I would have liked and I didn’t know what her history was. I did know that she was a nice person, one of the traits I think everyone in the world should strive toward. I wish I could have seen her again before she left this world. She will be missed.

    Im sorry to hear about mom jansen…..She was a very special person in my life….she was so happy,loved life loved her family and very friendly.. i sure will miss her e-mails and talks on the phone….we had some good times when she came to Buffalo…..im so glad to be part of this family..i was with her son Karl who passed away 6 years ago and miss him terribly also… they are together now…….i love u mom …..

    The best Mom anyone could ever hope for. A true friend to many, many people. She had a heart full of love and shared regularly. She will be missed, but spoken to daily.
