Jesse E. Kneisley of Gilbert, AZ, 83, died Saturday, July 17, 2021.  In hospice for over one year-prior to his death, Jesse died peacefully in his sleep.

He leaves his daughter, Beth Ann Hatkevich and husband Steve; son Joel and wife Lauren; son Tony and wife Gina; brother David and wife Nancy; grandson Jorin; granddaughters Ashlee, Emily, and Brooklyn; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and the love of his life for over 50 years, Carla DeFalco; parents Glenn and Helen (Utter); brother Daniel; and nieces Caryn Thomas and Tammy DeFalco.

Born in Ohio, Jesse graduated from Waite High School.  After graduation he worked for a meat packing plant and later became a restaurant and saloon owner. He was a long-time member of the Maumee Elks Lodge and the Turtles Club.  He enjoyed family gatherings, left-right-center, euchre, and Westerns, especially those starring “The Duke”.

A Memorial Mass for both Jesse and Carla will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 10:30 A.M., Saint Rose Catholic Church, 215 East Front Street, Perrysburg, OH 43551.

A graveside service for Jesse will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 2:00 P.M., Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85207.

Memorial contributions may be made to Glecy Infinity Care Assisted Living, 976 W Citrus Way, Chandler, AZ 85248 or to White Rose Hospice at www.whiterosehospice.com in his name.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all his caretakers at Glecy Infinity Care Assisted Living and White Rose Hospice, especially Heather.
