It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jessica Danielle Bloom, age 35, on June 15th, 2025. Jessica was a beloved daughter, devoted mother, cherished sister, and loyal friend, whose laughter and warmth touched countless lives.

Born on August 4th, 1989, Jessica was the treasured twin sister of Jeremy Bloom and loving sister to Jonathan Maycock. She was the devoted daughter of Elaine Thomas and the late Rick Bloom, whose memory she honored through a life of compassion and service. Jessica was also the proud and adoring mother of her son, Jordan Adkins, who brought immeasurable joy and purpose to her life.

Jessica’s presence was unmistakable—her infectious laugh and radiant smile could brighten any room. With a heart of gold, she extended kindness and compassion to all she met, embodying the very essence of servant leadership in both her personal and professional life. Throughout her distinguished career in health and human services, Jessica uplifted vulnerable populations, serving as a beacon of hope and advocacy for those in need.

Her impact was not limited to her professional accomplishments; Jessica was a steadfast pillar of support for her family and friends, always ready to listen, encourage, and champion those around her. Jessica was known for her meticulous way of wanting things done and her persistence in achieving her goals. In her leisure time she enjoyed taking trips to the “Nino,” cleaning and organizing, celebrating Taco Tuesday, camping, spending time with her cat and dogs, and Facetiming with her niece and nephew. Her legacy is one of love, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.

Jessica is survived by her son, Jordon Adkins; her mother, Elaine (Bob) Thomas; her siblings, Jeremy (Brittany, Brody, and Abby) Bloom, Jonathan (Sarah and Ava) Maycock, Bobby (Sarah, Corinne, Collin, and Cason) Thomas; and her grandmother, Ardie Jones. She is also remembered with love by extended family, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives were graced by her boundless compassion and joyful spirit.

funeral service and burial will be held at 7900 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207, on Friday, July 11th at 10:00 AM. A reception will immediately follow at the same location. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual attendance option will be available.

Jessica will be forever remembered for her laughter, her servant’s heart, and the immeasurable love she so freely gave. Her legacy endures in the countless lives she touched.

I spoke to her many times about God and family and of course worked along side of her relentless pursuit of making the lives of the people who struggled with mental health better , richer, and brought sunshine into their lives!!!!!!
