Jhonatan Alonso Guzmán, 38, passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him more deeply than words can express.
Jhonatan was a husband, father, son, brother, and friend, but more than anything, he was someone whose presence became woven into the everyday lives of the people he loved. He shared 10 years with his wife, Natalie, and together they built a life and a family with their three children, Nathaniel, Jeremiah, and Zoe.
His family was at the center of his world. Jhonatan loved fiercely, protected the people he cared about, and took care of his family in ways that were unmistakably his. Sometimes it was through something thoughtful, sometimes through humor, and sometimes through something that only made sense because it was Jhon. Those small, ordinary moments became some of the most meaningful parts of the life they shared.
He was a devoted father who wanted to be present for his children and the things that mattered to them. He encouraged them, showed up for them, laughed with them, and created memories they will carry for the rest of their lives. Nathaniel, Jeremiah, and Zoe will grow up knowing just how deeply their dad loved them and how proud he was to be their father.
Jhonatan had a personality that was impossible to forget. He was funny, protective, occasionally a little dramatic, and always prepared for whatever he thought might happen next. He could turn an ordinary day into a story that would be told for years. Life with Jhonatan meant laughter, traditions, adventures, and countless little moments that no one realized would someday become such precious memories.
He is also survived by his parents, Lucia and Ignacio, and his siblings, Rubi, Joe, Liz, David, and Abby, along with extended family and friends who loved him and whose lives are forever changed by his absence.
Thirty-eight years was nowhere near enough.
There should have been more holidays, more family trips, more laughter, more ordinary mornings, and more time to watch his children grow. His family will forever wish they had been given more.
But Jhonatan’s life will not be remembered only for how it ended or for how much he is missed. It will be remembered for everything that came before, for the family he helped build, the children he loved, the laughter he created, the traditions he helped begin, and the countless memories that now mean more than anyone could have imagined.
He leaves behind an enormous absence, but he also leaves behind an enormous amount of love.
Jhonatan will continue to be part of his family’s stories, their traditions, their laughter, and their lives. He will be spoken about, remembered, and loved for all the years still to come.
He was deeply loved in life, and he will be deeply loved in memory.
