Joe M. Romero, 50, passed away on Friday July 21st. He was the husband of Lisa Romero. They shared 28 years of marriage together.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio he was the son of Conchita “Connie” Mendez and Jesse Romero. He attended Maryvale High School and was employed at many different jobs in his lifetime. He was currently on disability and was staying at home.

He was a member to Mission Community Church, Donate Life, and the National Kidney Foundation. He enjoyed listening to music, politics, making jokes, he also was a big fanatic about sports and enjoyed watching as well as playing in high school where the love began. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed running around with his grandchildren. It was always a fun time when he was around. He will be remembered for his quick comebacks, sarcasm, and laugh. He was always giving back to whatever he could. He was a beautiful soul.

He is survived by Lisa Romero, Jessica Romero, Joe Romero Jr. Also by his 3 grandchildren Natalie, Abigail, and Charlotte Renteria.

The funeral service will be held on Friday July 28th at 3 pm at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery. 7900 E Main St. Mesa AZ 85207. The viewing will be held from 2pm to the time of the service.

Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be placed to the National Kidney Foundation in his name.
